The new director of the Dobie-Paisano Fellowships, TIL member Michael Adams, has met with the TIL Council to update the TIL on the state of the land and buildings at the ranch. The house needs considerable repairs – foundation, roofing, etc., -- which UT has agreed to do during the new two-month summer interim between Fellows. In the meantime, the furniture and kitchen appliances and utensils are in sad shape.

 

Michael has constituted a special fund that can be used at his discretion to replace furniture and furnishings without having to apply for special funding from UT sources.

 

He would great appreciate donations to the fund. The check should be written to “The University of Texas” with “Director’s Fund” in the memo line. They should be sent to:
